A plan for the promotion of Brussels public sector jobs

Although it is the first area in the country, Brussels face still a very high rate of unemployment. It also seems that present in Brussels works and those created daily do not benefit enough to Brussels. This paradox is also valid in the public service.Ten years ago, it was the first to condemn this situation. I particular made it through a study on the employment of the public service rate Brussels which was launched in 2003 and I've updated several times (2006 and 2009). Unfortunately, my conclusions were the same: too little of Brussels had access to public sector jobs. Given that fact, I proposed in 2008 in the region of Brussels - capital of concrete action for the employment of Brussels in the public service. To do this, that it had submitted a resolution adopted unanimously by the regional Parliament to order instead of a plan of action.I am therefore particularly pleased to see this project come to Brussels and today, after a meeting between members of the Government and all the heads of agencies of public interest (OIP) authorities. Regional operators such as Citydev, the STIB/MIVB, Brussels or environment Actiris thus gathered around the same table that the Government implement a plan of action to strengthen the presence of Brussels and Brussels in the public service.Pending this action plan to produce its effects, remain convinced that it is essential to work against the current through the formation of the youth of Brussels. Passes through the updating of teachers qualified in the Brussels region. Work specifically within the institutions of the Cocof, which I am in charge. The seventh 'Prevention and security trades Assistant' qualification Technician (7 TAPS) for Institut Emile Gryzon, on the campus of the Ceria in Anderlecht, we prepare many young Brussels examination of recruitment of the police in collaboration with the school of police (ERIP) regional and intercity. In my opinion, it is essential to develop this type of training that actually leads to a job. At a time where the fight against youth unemployment is pointed to as a matter of priority in the Brussels region, this section shows the potential that describes the development in the youth employment since almost 100% of those who have followed these studies have found employment in the months that followed at the end of their studies. Finally, in parallel with this, the Cocof budget confirms that the formation of young people to help them access to public employment or private remains one of its main priorities. The francophones of Brussels Government also has planned a budget of 4 million € to fund young warranty. This device, co-financed by the European Union, aims to ensure formations 3,000, 2,000 and 1,000 jobs in two-year courses. This device is also a real opportunity to form many – their examinations of recruitment of Brussels-is organised by public employers.
